Owner Guidelines

1. When on XAT, a Tab of ARCbots Chat should be opened and checked
every few minutes when on other chats.
2. Owners are required to be active in the chat at least
80-100 hours a MONTH with a reasonable amount of messages
posted.
3. As Owner, you are in charge of making sure moderators are behaving
appropriately. You do not have the authority to demote a staff member
to member or change their level to level 1.
4. Should a moderator be breaking a rule, or causing disruption to the chat
room, you have permission to mute for 30 minutes (.5 hours)
WITH THAT BEING SAID: 2 Screenshots will be required in the ban
of a staff member.
a. Full chat screenshot(s) of the users messages
b. Full chat screenshot of the users messages with their xat user
card up displaying their regname, ID, and name.
When you mute a staff member, an investigation by a Main owner will
begin. If it is found that the reason for your mute was more leaning
towards the reasoning of negative bias, you will be demoted back to
moderator immediately.
5. As Owner, appropriate and professional behavior is to be shown
and executed at all times.
Owners are expected to professionally assist users QUICKLY and
effectively and ALWAYS ensuring the Client is happy when they
leave.
6. As Owner, work performance shown should EXCEED that of Moderators.
7. An owner should always be visible in the chatroom at all times.
(No invisible / stealth if you're the only owner online)

8. Telling moderators to assist a client is not professional, if
you have the time to be on the chat and tell a moderator to
assist, you are capable of doing so.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
INTRODUCING: THE NEWLY IMPROVED STAFF DISCIPLINARY SYSTEM
PIPP - Prolonged Inactivity Probationary Period
PIPP is a last resort disciplinary action only to be used by 2 ARCbot
ADMINSTRATORS (Nathan and Actavus). It is intended to be used when a
staff memfer has failed to comply with the staff rule regarding inactivity
for a period of 30 days or more.
Staff placed on PIPP will remain level 2, keep moderator rank, but will
be awarded a badge.
A staff member on PIPP will have their activity on xat extensively monitored
for a total of 14 days. In addition, their performance and behavior on ARCbot
as well as behavior on other chats will also be observed.
On the 15th day, a re-evaluation of the staff members performance will be
made, and if they pass PIPP, the user will be required to re take the staff test
with three attempts to get 100%. Those who do not pass the test, will have to
wait 7 days to re take the test again and re earn their rank.

SUSPENSION: As an owner, you have the authority to request a user to be
placed on suspension for a period of anywhere from 1-10 days, based on
the infraction committed by the staff member.
Staff placed on suspension will be demoted to member, yellowcarded, and
changed to level 1.
